Wow! What a day. Andy and A Tree’s Christmas were interviewed by Steve Goss NPR WABE and the interview ran twice this morning. He was also interviewed by DayTime television host Dave Nemeth in Tampa which also aired today. We expect to hear from Mr. Spielberg or one of his reps any day now.

Here is a short snippet of Andy reading a portion of the book about how the tree helps when a burglar tries to disrupt Christmas. The Burglar

“I liked the part where the dog tried to run around all happy being around the people when the Christmas tree was getting decorated. I also liked the part the author talked about flashbacks to allow me to get to know the girl and the dad better in the story. It reminded me about things that happened with my family at Christmas.”

Andy Bowen is being interviewed with 90.1 FM WABE NPR Atlanta. The interview will air twice December 22 at 6:30 and 8:30 a.m. The link will then be available online on their website.

He is also scheduled to do a taping Friday, December 19th at WFLA for their TODAY show in Tampa which will air Dec 22nd.

A Tree’s Christmas is an amazing story!  I love books that use personification – and this one is the best I have ever read.  I particularly liked the part where the tree tells his story.  I looked forward with anticipation to hearing all the things that happened to the tree.  I also like the funny editorial comments of Lucky, the dog.   Colton Starley, age 11

A Tree’s Christmas author Andrew Bowen has fun reading America’s newest Christmas book to youngsters in Tampa’s Hyde Park Village on the evenings leading up to Christmas.

With 12 chapters, A Tree’s Christmas is a perfect read for the 12 days of Christmas…one chapter a day can be read to the little ones during the 12 special days.

Andy will also be reading and signing A Tree’s Christmas at a benefit for the Foster Angels of Hillsborough County at the Grand Beauty Spa, Medi Spa and Salon 2717 W. Kennedy Blvd. in Tampa during a Foster Angels benefit concert there beginning at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 10.
